Digital Skills for beginners

This  foundation course is for people who have little or no experience of using computers and would like to learn in an informal friendly class.

By the end of the course you will be able to use a computer to create and store simple word processing documents, search the internet, write and send emails and follow basic safety and security practices to stay safe online. 

Functional ICT up to Level 2

Introduction to Functional ICT.

If you are 19+ and you want to learn or improve your  digital skills (Up to level 2)  and get a nationally recognised qualification, these courses are for you. You will identify and work towards your own goals on your Individual Learning Plan and learn to use digital  skills in everyday contexts. At the end of the course you will take a formal assessment. These courses are offered at different levels so that you can study at the right level for you.

Our digital  courses cover everyday skills such as using a computer safely and securely, using the internet to find information as well as work related skills such as using word processing, spreadsheets and  database  applications to create, store and share information.
